East Nicolaus Jr. Spartans - Our Story
The East Nicolaus Jr. Spartans were first formed in 2014 by an ambitious group of Plumas Lake parents. With neighboring youth programs filling up, there was a vast need to give the residents of Plumas Lake, East Nic, Rio Oso, & Pleasant Grove another option for football & cheer without having to turn anyone away... and this is where the original Plumas Lake Jr. Spartans were born.
Affiliates of the Independent Sports Alliance of California League, we are fortunate enough to have the neighboring community of East Nicolaus generously let us utilize their high school facility. In 2017, we solidified our partnership with East Nicolaus High School by directly affiliating our youth program with theirs, changing our name to East Nicolaus Jr. Spartans and calling their facilities our home. They have become an instrumental part of our organization’s growing success.
The East Nicolaus Jr. Spartans look forward to many more years of continuing to serve our South Yuba & Sutter communities and help guide our children towards being the leaders of tomorrow.
Mission Statement: Be a leader in our community through coaching football & cheer fundamentals at the youth level. Providing a fun, safe environment, breeding hard work, dedication and most importantly an understanding of what it means to be a part of a TEAM. Enlisting strong, positive leadership from the community with the understanding that "We do it for the kids."
